MARVEL RELEASED THE FIRST MAGICAL TRAILER FOR DOCTOR STANGE

While you were sleeping, Marvel released the first trailer for their upcoming movie about the Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Strange.

Based on the brief footage we’ve seen, it looks like director Scott Derrickson will stick pretty closely to the 1963 origin story… And Benedict Cumberbatch looks every bit the part of Doctor Steven Strange.


This movie looks like it will heavily focus on magic and possibly other dimensions (or at the very least, beings from other dimensions). There even appears to be a little homage or inspiration from Christopher Nolan’s mind-bending flick Inception as well.

And it certainly has the potential to do for the comic book movie genre, what Guardians of the Galaxy did a few years prior.

Marvel’s Doctor Strange, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg, Mads Mikkelsen, and Tilda Swinton hits theaters November 4, 2016.
