alt-J (also known as ∆) is an English indieock band from Leeds, England. Formed in 2007, alt-J’s debut album won the British Mercury Prize, and their latest album, This Is All Yours, went straight to number 1 on the UK charts. alt-J has also contributed to multiple movie soundtracks, including the 2012 film, Silver Linings Playbook.
