#DumbAssOfTheDay – January 8, 2015

When you watch a movie, you should probably try to avoid acting things out in real life. Today’s #DumbAssOfTheDay has presumably learned this lesson the hard way.

The Daily Caller picked up a story from Hernando County, Florida that was originally reported back in late December about a guy who got busted for impersonating a cop, something he saw in a movie. What could be worse? Getting caught with the movie you were trying to reenact and then trying to justify your actions to cops!

23-year-old James Michael Buck is now facing charges of impersonating an officer and one count of dumb assery. Buck was arrested after he pulled someone over for a “traffic stop,” complete with sirens and a badge. It was at this point the suspect actually suspected the cop (Buck), was doing something fishy. The individual then called real law enforcement who arrived on scene fairly quickly.

Upon his arrest, the real cops searched Buck’s vehicle and found a copy of the Fox film #LetsBeCops in Buck’s possession. Buck even told officers that he liked impersonating a cop because, “no one would mess with him.” Check out Buck’s mugshot below!
